Zuma responds to ANC's order

South Africa's President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday spoke about the order by the African National Congress (ANC) asking him step down as head of state for the first time since it was announced, calling it  "unfair" as the party had not specified what he had down wrong.

In an interview with state broadcaster, Zuma said "I don't think it is fair, I think it is unfair," adding "There's nothing I've done wrong." He also said he had offered to resign in June, while he disagrees with the method at which the issue was being handled.

Zuma did not mention if he was going to fight the order or tow the party line but said he would issue a statement later on Wednesday.
