Manchester City and Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero has become his club's all time top scorer after securing a brace in the Champions League ties against Napoli on Wednesday night.

Auger who has managed to score more than 20 goals in 4 out of his 6 seasons at Manchester City was extremely delighted after achieving the feat and thanked his team mates and club staff for their support so far.

The Striker who is also Maradona's son in-law dedicated his shirt for the game to his son after achieving the feat in a stadium where his father in-law (Maradona) was highly adored.

"I am very happy for this moment. I am happy because the team helped to support me -- as did the fans and all the staff. I want to say thank you very much to everyone," Aguero told BT Sport.

"I am enjoying this moment. I am very happy because this moment is a one-time thing.

"Napoli are a good team and away always in the Champions League is difficult.

"This shirt is for my son, he texted me to say: 'As soon as you score, bring me the shirt.'"

City manager Pep Guardiola called Aguero a "club legend" for the accomplishment.

"When one guy achieved that, big congratulations, what he's done for all his teammates, he's a legend in the history of this club," Guardiola told a news conference.

"Enjoy it, everyone has to be so proud."
