The Saudi Arabian government has on Tuesday fired a senior education official after a school textbook was published with the image of Star Wars character Yoda shown seated next to King Faisal.
Saudi Media reports that this sack comes after a host of high profile errors have occured under the former education official's watch and as a result he has had to lose his job.
Some of these high profile errors include mistakes on history, chemistry, English language and religious education textbooks.
The affected textbooks have now been recalled by Saudi's education ministry.
