Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has stated that for every effort that Germany takes towards improving bilateral relationship between both countries, Turkey will make double efforts.
Cavusoglu made this disclosure shortly after the announcement of the German general elections where Angela Merkel secure a 33% vote that should now see her through her fourth term in office although with a coalition partner this time around.
"Germany should learn from its mistakes," Cavusoglu told broadcaster A Haber when asked about ties between the two countries, which have been hit by disagreements on a range of political and security issues.
