- United set to offer De Gea improved contract.
- The Clubs is aiming to ward off potential suitors from the player.
Manchester United Football Club are reportedly preparing an improved contract offer for goalkeeper David de Gea in an attempt to ward off competion from rival clubs both in the Premier League and abroad.
De Gea has been very instrumental towards revitalising
a United side that has only conceded two goals this season.
Although the United shotstopper is still contracted to the Club until 2019, Jose Mourinho is perhaps trying to avoid a situation where the player can easily be poached by rival clubs before then.
United will be hoping to land the player's signature by January 2018 to ensure his future is tied to the club.
