- North Korea calls Trump deranged, threatens to test H-bomb on Pacific Ocean.

- North Korea consistently accuses the U.S. and South Korea of preparing for an invasion.
In the wake of U.S. President Donald Trump's speech at the United Nations General Assembly where he threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea, a statement has been issued by North Korea's President Kim Jong-un addressing Trump's comments.

Kim Jong-un warned that Trump and the U.S. would pay dearly for insulting and disrespecting the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in front of world leaders.

"Now that Trump has insulted me and my country in front of the eyes of the world, we will consider with seriousness exercising of a corresponding, highest level of hard-line countermeasure in history," Kim said.

Kim further made a direct threat to the U.S. President Donald Trump, calling him mentally deranged and vowing to tame him with fire.

"I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire," Kim said in the statement carried by the KCNA state news agency.

Although Kim Jong-un did not specify what kind of response he aims to unleash against the U.S., his foreign minister, Ri Yong Ho, said in televised remarks North Korea could consider a hydrogen bomb test of an unprecedented scale on the Pacific Ocean.

The US and South Korea are technically still at war with North Korea because the 1950-53 Korean conflict ended with a truce and not a peace treaty.

As a result, North Korea has consistently accused the U.S. who have 28,500 troops in South Korea of planning for an invasion.

Japan, as the only country in the world to ever experience an atomic attack and its effects has described the new threats from North Korea as "totally unacceptable".
