- Brexit negotiations have been tough but there has been progress so far.
Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May has disclosed that the Country intends to remain a strong friend to the EU after Brexit.

May further stated that neither she nor the U.K. would stand in the way of any future EU reforms.

The British PM made these comments whilst speaking to the media on Friday in Italy.

Theresa May also highlighted that although there have been tough moments during the Brexit negotiations so far, considerable progress has been made.

"We have now conducted three rounds of negotiations and while at times those negotiations have been tough it's clear that thanks to the professionalism and diligence of (negotiators) David Davis and Michel Barnier, we have made concrete progress on many important issues," May said during a major speech on Brexit in Florence.
