Barely two months after becoming the club's record signing, Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele has sustained a hamstring injury and has been flown to a trusted club Surgeon in Finland, the club announced on Monday.
Dembele, who became the club's record signing when he joined from Borussia Dortmund for an initial €105 million, arrived at El Prat airport in a wheelchair and was accompanied by club doctor Ricard Pruna.
This move means that Dembele, 20, is likely to be ruled out for the rest of the season and will definitely miss the remainder of the champions league group stage matches and the "el classico" tie with Real Madrid on the 23rd of December.
