Arsene Wenger Acknowledges Arsenal's disastrous display as they lost 4-0 to Liverpool

In the words of Arsene Wenger, it was a disastrous display from Arsenal as they visited Liverpool at Anfield.

Liverpool Thrashed Arsenal 4-0 without breaking a sweat and Arsenal never looked threatening from start to finish.

After spending Around $70 Million on a striker, one would have expected him to be an automatic starter but this wasn't the case for Alexandre Lacazette who spend at least 60 minutes on the bench as as the Arsenal crisis worsened.

From Possession to Passes to Number of Touches to Shots on Goal, Arsenal were bested in every element of the game.

At the end of the game, Arsene Wenger was in total shock and agreed that it was a disastrous performance from his boys.

He said "If some people feel as if I am the problem, then I am sorry that I am the problem," Wenger told Sky Sports.

"But we want our fans to be with us even in a losing performance like that."

He added: "The only thing we can do is come back and give them a better performance."

Meanwhile, Goalkeeper Petr Cech has also called the spirit of the Arsenal dressing room as he claimed there was just no fight in the team during the match. The former Chelsea stopper called on his teammates to wake with a long season still ahead of them.
