Federal Executive Council meeting Cancelled as Buhari Probes Babachir Lawal and Ayo Oke

The Federal Executive Council meeting which normally holds weekly and was previously scheduled for today has been cancelled.
Although the reason for the cancellation is still undisclosed, President Buhari's media aide, Femi Adesina disclosed that the returned President will be provided with the probe report concerning the corruption allegations on the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ayo Oke, at 12 noon.
While Oke is being probed as a result of the huge sum of money found at the flats in Ikoyi and linked to him, Lawal is facing allegations concerning some contracts for clearing grass in the North East linked to him.
The probe panel is being chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who will be providing the report to President Buhari at his official residence in Abuja.
