ASUU STRIKE: Day 3, meeting with FG looks progressive

- ASUU meeting with FG ends on a positive note.

- Students may be returning to Universities soon.

- Both parties agree to an audit of previous funds and consistent monthly payments during audit period.
In a meeting with the minister of Labour and Employment Senator Chris Ngige held at the Minister's conference room in Abuja on Tuesday.

The meeting seemed to end on a positive note as both parties were in high spirits at the end.

The Leadership of ASUU and the federal government both agreed that an audit would need to be carried out on the sum of N30 Billion that was given to the Union in 2010.

Both parties however agreed that during the audit period, there would be consistent release of payments to the union.
