Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has reaffirmed his administrations's commitment to drastically improve the state of primary healthcare in Edo State through investments. He added that health care in the country and the state would be terribly poor without the involvement of government and also promised to develop a system that will deliver quality service to the people of Edo State.

The Governor made these statements during a visit from the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaibu to the Government House. 

Governor Obaseki also disclosed that the State Government has plans in place to roll out its Primary Health Care models across the state in the three Senatorial Districts, 18 Local Government Areas and 200 wards.

Dr Shuaibu also used the opportunity to praise the leadership of the state under Governor Obaseki.
