Please complete your refinery by 2019 - Minister Kachichukwu begs Dangote

- Minister Ibe Kachichukwu begs Dangote to complete Refinery by 2019.

- Reiterates the Federal Government's desire to stop fuel importation by December 2019.

- Dangote accepts challenge.

The Minister of State for Peteroleum resources has recently begged Alhaji Aliko Dangote to complete his refinery by the end of 2019. The minister stated that this would enable the present administration to deliver on its promises of putting an end to the importation of petrol within this time frame.

Whilst reiterating the government's heavy reliance on the completion of this project, the Minister during his visit to Dangote refinery at Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos also expressed the government's commitment towards playing its part responsibly to ensure that the project is completed smoothly.

In response to this, Mr Dangote accepted the challenge as he said "In this regard, the President of Dangote Group, stated: "On the honourable minister's challenge, we are going to make it by the grace of God. I am sure the minister will support us to make sure that we meet his challenge".
