Knife attack in London leaves 1 dead and 5 injured

An elderly woman was killed and five others- 2 women and 3 men- injured after a knife attack in London's Russell square, on Wednesday night.
Just after 10:30pm, Police responded to reports of a man attacking people in the Square near the British Museum.
According to a police statement recorded by the BBC, a 19-year-old man was arrested, after police succeeded in subduing him with a Taser.
Early reports suggested mental health was "a significant factor" in the attack, though they continued to consider terrorism a possibility, Scotland Yard said.
Authorities have not released further details about the identity of the attacker.
Attacks with knives and axes have been spreading across Europe, particularly in France and Germany, with responsibility frequently claimed by the Islamic State.
Police said there would be an increased security presence throughout the city on Thursday morning, "to provide reassurance and safety."
