Ambode leads as Nigeria's top performing Governor, Poll shows

An ongoing opinion poll organised by the African Leadership Magazine, has shown Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State to be in the lead as the top performing Governor in Nigeria.
According to organizers, the poll was designed to monitor performance and gauge the mood of the electorate in Nigeria.
This is in line with their objective of providing credible information and support to leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, stated that the poll tagged: ‘Good Governance Polls for Nigeria's Top Performing Governor,' started two weeks ago, with Ambode maintaining the lead with increased 36.1 percent of the total votes cast.
Voting is ongoing and expected to close in the next four days.
