After 2 years in Boko Haram captivity, wife and daughter of Shehu of Bama regain freedom

After being abducted 2years ago by terrorist group, Boko Haram, the wife and daughter of the Shehu of Bama, Alhaji Kyari Ibn Ibrahim Elkanemi, have regained their freedom.
There was heavy jubilation and weeping when both victims were brought by the General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Nigeria Army, Brig. Gen. Victor Ezugwu, to the monarch in Maiduguri, yesterday at about 1:30p.m.
Along with two of her children, the Queen- Hajju- was abducted when the insurgents over-ran the town of Bama in 2014.
Unfortunately, her son was killed by the insurgents, leaving her daughter and the Queen in Boko Haram captivity, before troops rescued them during their operations around Damboa axis within the week.
According to a family source, the Shehu wept profusely on sighting his wife.
Some dignitaries who visited the royal residence to welcome the returnees include wife of Borno State Governor, Hajiya Nana Shettima; Deputy Governor Usman Durkwa and other government functionaries.
