Neymar, Costa make Brazil Olympics squad

The Brazilian football squad which will represent the country at the forthcoming Rio Olympics, has been constituted.

Barcelona forward, Neymar, has been named as an over-aged player alongside Bayern Munich striker, Douglas Costa.

BBC says the third permitted over-age player was Palmeiras goalkeeper, Fernando Prass while Santos forward, Gabriel Barbosa was one of five forwards in the Under-23 squad.

With the new development, the forwards that made the Olympics squad are: Neymar (Barcelona), Douglas Costa (Bayern Munich), Gabriel Jesus (Palmeiras), Gabriel Barbosa (Santos) and Luan (Gremio).

Those in the midfield include: Thiago Maia (Santos), Rodrigo Dourado (Internacional), Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk), Rafinha (Barcelona) and Felipe Anderson (Lazio).

The players that comprise the Brazilian defence are: Marquinhos (PSG), Luan (Vasco Da Gama), Rodrigo Caio (Sao Paulo), Zeca (Santos), William (Internacional) and Douglas Santos (Atletico Mineiro).

Uilson of Atletico Mineiro has been named the second goalkeeper of the team after Prass.
