Forgery Case: Buhari is turning into a Dictator- Senate

Within the Senate chambers on Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari was accused of turning into a dictator over the issue of the arraignment of the Senate President and his Deputy, for allegedly forging the Senate Standing Rules.
Senators across party lines affirmed that despite the accusations of the Federal Government, the Rule Book remains 'authentic'.
Consequently, following a four-hour closed-door session presided over by Ike Ekweremadu which was filled with much outrage, the Senate in a unanimous resolution, summoned the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, to appear before its Committee on Judiciary within two days.
Members of the Senate accused the Presidency of staging a coup in order to effect regime change within the Upper House.
Similarly, the PDP caucuses in the Senate and House of Representatives, in separate meetings, also lambasted the Presidency, with the PDP senators resolving, henceforth, to stop all manner of cooperation with the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration.
The court summons were served on Bukola Saraki, Ike Ekweremadu and 2 other top management staff of the National Assembly yesterday, by way of substituted service, by bailiffs from the Federal High Court. The document was pasted on the Notice Board. The accused are to appear before the court on June 27.
