Bailly joins Manchester United as first signee under Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has made his first signing as Coach of Manchester United; bringing Ivory Coast defender, Eric Bertrand Bailly, over from Villareal.

Bailly has reportedly joined the Red Devils on a 4-year deal, with the option for a further two years; and he was purchased for 30million.

The 22year old defender was part of the Africa Cup of Nations-winning Ivory Coast team in 2015.

Bailly told the club's official website:"It is a dream come true to be joining Manchester United. To play football at the highest level is all I have ever wanted to do."

The Ivorian made 47 appearances for Villarreal since joining on January, 29, 2015; and has also made 15 appearance for his country.
