Boko Haram chief bomb maker shot dead as another goes blind'

The Nigerian Army has recorded yet another major breakthrough in the fight against the Boko Haram sect, speaking through its spokesperson, Sani Usman, said the terrorist bomb maker has been killed by a body guard to Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the sect.
The chief bomb maker who is a high ranking member of the Boko Haram terrorist group, was shot dead as he was trying to run away, having sensed that the Nigeria military are overpowering the terrorist group.
Col Sani Usman, disclosed that the chief bomb maker, apart from his high status in the command structure of the terrorist group, was one of their capable hands involved in making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), coming after their chief scientist, Abu RPG who has been killed.
"The chief bomb maker was killed by one of the body guards of the Boko Haram terrorists' leader, Abubakar Shekau as he was about to run away just like several others are doing because of the intensity of Operation Crackdown," the Army stressed.
The army also disclosed that "one Julelebeeb who was appointed to take over the vacant position as the chief bomb maker is now completely blind.
This is because his two eyes were shattered by shrapnel while trying to prepare an IED to consolidate his appointment.
"This is therefore an indication that the capacity of the terrorist group to manufacture EIDs and perpetrate its suicide bombing has drastically reduced and the ability to sustain the killing of innocent Nigerians through the detonation of bombs cannot be sustained.
"There is no doubt, this development has dealt a devastating blow on the terrorists' capacity on IED preparation, suicide bombing and their ability to sustain their criminal acts," the Army noted.
