NIMASA trial: Accused bought N70m property from me - Witness


   A witness at the on going trial of the ex-NIMASA boss, Patrick Akpobolokemi and six others yesterday at the Federal High Court in Lagos testified that he collected the sum of N70 million for a plot of land.

The witness, a property consultant and Prosecution Witness (PW), Eboigbe Etiosa, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eboigbe Etiosa and Associate. He is one of the 11 witnesses that testified before Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court, Lagos.

"It cost N70 million. My Zenith Bank account domiciled with Eric More Branch, Surulere, was credited twice," he said.
According to him, he bought the property, "a piece of land" in 2014 at Northern Foreshore, Lekki from one David Anazodo. The case is before Justice Ibrahim Buba.


Akpobolokemi was docked before the court along with the agency's ex-Executive Director, Maritime Safety and Shipping Development, Captain Ezekiel Agaba, his Aides, Ekene Nwakuche and Governor Juan as well as Blockz and Stonz Limited, Kenzo Logistics Limited and Al-Kenzo Logistic Limited.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is prosecuting the accused for alleged converting N2. 6billion between December 23, 2013 and May 28 last year, to which they pleaded not guilty.
