Veteran actor Joseph Abiodun aka Jab Adu passes on.

While the Nigerian movie industry Nollywood, is still mourning over the death of veteran actor, late Festus Aguebor, there's been yet another sad news of death, as veteran actor Joseph Abiodun Babatunde Adu who was famous as Jab Adu has just passed on.

He died in the morning of the 28th of February at his Abeokuta home in Ogun state, after battling with a brief illness, which was age related, at the age of 83.
He was part of the few cast left of the popular Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) 70s/80s Tv series ‘The Village Headmaster', as most of them are already dead.
He played Bassey Okon, the Oja Village pharmacist, dispenser and doctor.
The Calabar born actor from Cross River state, who was a devotee of Grail Message Movement, started full time acting, writing and producing in 1970 when he left his professional banking job at CBN. As a film­maker, he was renowned for filmic acts like ‘Bisi, Daughter of the River', ‘Adio's Family', among others. Details of his burial arrangements are yet to be known. May his soul rest in peace. Amen!
